“The beauty of coherent quantum states” – A video of the COST Action “NANOCOHYBRI”, in which the SUMAN group participates

This video is based upon work from COST Action Nanoscale Coherent Hybrid Devices for Superconducting Quantum Technologies (NANOCOHYBRI), supported by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), and in which the SUMAN group is participating. 

The SUMAN group participates in the project since 2017 in Working Group 3: Hybrids with nanoscale vortex pinning and nanofabrication for high magnetic fields gràcies al nostre expertice en vortex pinning.

Anna Palau has participated in the preparation of the video, together with the rest of the communication team of the project: Annica Black-Schaffer, Isabel Guillamón, Anna Palau and Tomas Samuely.

We use the word “coherence” to describe beautiful arrangements of different parts, or to describe parts that form a unified whole. Coherence is usually hard to obtain. In the COST action nanoscale coherent devices for superconducting quantum technologies, NANOCOHYBRI, we bring together the expertise of physicists engineers, chemists, and materials scientists to design new quantum materials and develop hybrid superconducting devices capable of obtaining robust quantum states and achieve coherence.
